Clear Expectations Create Better Partnerships

Every coaching relationship is built on mutual commitment.

When you reserve time on my calendar, I'm making a commitment to prepare for you, hold space for you, and be fully present during our time together. In return, I ask for the same commitment from you.

The purpose of this policy isn't to create rigid rules. It's to create clarity, protect our time, and ensure that every coaching session receives the attention it deserves.

 

Discovery Calls

Discovery Calls are offered as a complimentary opportunity for us to get to know one another.

There is no fee to schedule a Discovery Call.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I simply ask that you provide as much notice as possible so that the appointment can be offered to someone else.

 

Coaching Sessions

Your scheduled coaching time is reserved exclusively for you.

To help create consistency and respect for both of our schedules, the following policies apply.

Rescheduling

Life happens.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

Appointments may be rescheduled through your scheduling confirmation or by contacting me directly.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late for your session, we'll use the remaining scheduled time together.

Sessions will generally conclude at the originally scheduled end time to honor commitments to other clients.

Missed Appointments

If you miss a scheduled coaching session without advance notice, the session will be considered completed and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

I understand that emergencies occasionally occur. If unexpected circumstances arise, please reach out as soon as you're able, and we'll determine an appropriate path forward together.

 

Coaching Packages

Coaching packages are designed as a commitment to a process—not simply a collection of individual sessions.

Because preparation, planning, and scheduling begin once a coaching package is purchased:

• Coaching package fees are generally non-refundable once coaching has begun.

• Sessions included within a package should be used within the timeframe specified in your Coaching Agreement.

• Unused sessions may expire if not used within the agreed-upon period unless otherwise arranged in writing.

 

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, downloadable resources, journals, templates, assessments, and other digital materials are non-refundable once access has been provided unless otherwise required by law.

If you experience technical difficulties accessing your purchase, I'll gladly work with you to resolve the issue.

 

Workshops & Group Programs

Policies for workshops, retreats, cohorts, or group coaching programs may vary depending on the event.

Any program-specific cancellation or refund terms will be communicated during registration and will supersede this general policy where applicable.

 

Exceptional Circumstances

While consistency is important, compassion matters too.

If extraordinary circumstances arise—including serious illness, family emergencies, or unforeseen events—I encourage you to reach out.

Whenever possible, I'll work with you to identify a fair and reasonable solution.

 

Cancellations by Sparking Embers

On rare occasions, I may need to reschedule a coaching session due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control. If this happens:

• You will be notified as soon as possible.

• Your session will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.

• If rescheduling is not possible, an appropriate refund or credit will be provided.

 

Memberships & Recurring Services (Future Use)

If Sparking Embers offers memberships, subscriptions, or recurring coaching services in the future, additional cancellation terms will be provided at the time of enrollment.
